    I will be teaching 7th Grade Reading at AC New Middle School in Mesquite ISD this year.
    As a result of reading The Book Whisperer, I have found more passion for teaching Reading. I will spread this passion to my students through my excitement about reading and through the vision that reading good books makes life much more interesting.

    I am Jill Culmo. I work at Shaw Elementary in Mesquite as an Instructional Specialist and Early Literacy Specialist with grades K-2. I will continue to share a passion for reading with all students and teachers. I will plan my guided reading instruction by continually asking myself, "What can I show this reader today that will help him/her tomorrow?"
